Kenda KHF Series Horizontal Froth Slurry Pumps
The KHF (R) series horizontal froth slurry pumps are new, high-efficiency and energy-saving products independently developed based on advanced foreign technologies. When in operation, these pumps can partially eliminate foam in the slurry, solving the problem that ordinary slurry pumps are unable to convey frothy slurry. They are ideal pumps for transporting foam-containing slurries, and are particularly suitable for conveying frothy mineral slurries in flotation operations.
Operating Environment
It can effectively handle foam-containing slurries, whether it is foam slurries with low gas content (such as gas content below 30%), or foam slurries with high gas content (such as more than 40%) after special design.
Because the flow parts are made of corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant materials such as high chromium alloy, the horizontal foam pump can be used to transport slurries with high corrosiveness and high abrasiveness, ensuring that the pump body has a long service life in harsh media environments.
Features:
-Unique impeller design: The impeller with induction blades ensures stable foam delivery. The large impeller inlet can dissipate or reduce the size of entrained bubbles without hindering the flow of slurry.
-Large size inlet: Equipped with an enlarged high-efficiency slurry throat liner, the inlet size is maximized, the required net positive suction head (NPSH) is reduced, and cavitation can be effectively prevented. The operation stability and efficiency of the pump are improved, so that it can better handle foam and high-viscosity thick slurry.
-Double pump casing structure: The pump head is a double pump shell structure. Depending on the conveying medium, the flow-through parts can be made of hard nickel, high chromium or rubber materials, which have good wear resistance and can effectively resist the erosion and wear of solid particles in the foam-containing slurry, extending the service life of the pump.
